We just opened yesterday for the 2008-09 school year. The shelves were pretty sparsely populated over summer, but with the return of students to UCSD, our store is returning to its old self. The look of the store is changing as well. Goodbye corporate, 7-11 feel. Hello spray paint, tie-dye, artwork and DIY aesthetic. One change we weren't anticipating was to the mural on the eastern windows of the store. On Sunday night, some douchebag decided the window would look better if he/she threw a rock through it. Although we disagree with their design choice, we welcome the chance to paint something new...
